Docomomo-US Modernism in America Awards 2017

The k YODER design team was exceptionally honored and proud that the Kling Midcentury Renovation won a 2017 Docomomo-US Modernism in America Award. The project earned a Design Citation of Merit. This marks the second year in a row that a kYd project was recognized by the program.

The Modernism in America Awards represent the highest level of preservation efforts and the growing trend to not only preserve but to document and share those findings with the public. The awards highlight the diversity of important modern buildings and sites. Jurors called the project “sensitively realized” and selected it as one of only nine winners for 2017. The awards were presented 6 October 2017 in New York.
