The Margaret Esherick House has been added to the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. Designed by Louis Kahn and completed in 1961, the Margaret Esherick House was renovated and preserved by k YODER design in 2016, ensuring the home remains a viable, functional private residence.
The home was listed on the National Register on August 21, 2023 “due to its architectural significance as an iconic modernist building, universally recognized as a premier example of Kahn’s design principles.”
k YODER design congratulates owners Paul Savidge and Daniel Macey on their exemplary stewardship of the home and this landmark achievement.
