Lake Avenue Residence Featured in Dwell

The Lake Avenue Residence has been featured in the November-December 2023 print edition of Dwell magazine in the article “A Retro Revelation.” The ‘History Lessons’ issue highlights renovations that rethink the past. Also available online, the article by Mari Uyehara with photos by Zach Pontz is titled, “They’d Already Renovated an Iconic Midcentury. What’s One More?”
The Lake Avenue Residence underwent a collaborative renovation by kYd, Louise Cohen Interiors, and homeowners Paul Savidge and Daniel Macey, who also own the Margaret Esherick House. Taking cues from the home’s International Style design and intact original finishes, the design encompassed a new sunken library and bar addition, a reconfigured primary suite, a new courtyard pool, and updated amenities throughout the house.
